KIDSTOCK! PROGRAM AND SCHEDULING ADAPTATIONS FOR SUMMER 2021
Kidstock! is focused on making this summer as safe and responsible as possible. This goal will require some changes in our programming and scheduling. We ask that families understand our goal and work with us to keep their children healthy and happy throughout the summer while still enjoying all Kidstock! has planned for creative theater education and activities. These changes are for this summer only, and we anticipate returning to the very flexible programming we have been proud to offer now for almost 30 years.
ARRIVAL & DISMISSAL TIME there will be 3 staggered scheduled
We will have staggered arrival and dismissal times - when you register you will be asked to identify your first, second and third choice for arriving. You will be able to request that all of your children share the same times AND you will be able to request that anyone you are planning on carpooling with also share the same times.
SHORT DAY for CREATIVE ARTS
FULL DAY for ALL PROGRAMS
INDIVIDUAL DAYS there will be a 3 day minimum of Mo-Tu-We
We have always aimed to provide the most flexible programming possible. However this year we will need to change the extent of that flexibility to minimize risk of any virus transmission. On the flexible weeks of JUNE 21, 28, JULY 5, AUG 23 & 30 there will be a minimum registration commitment of 3 days MON, TUE, WED. The option to add THU or THU & FRI will be available to anyone registered for MO-TU-WE. See website for more information.
EXTENDED DAY there will be no morning option and afternoon option will have 2 pick up times
The flexibility we normally enjoy offering Kidstock! Families of dropping off early and picking up late at any time without reservations will not be possible this summer. There will be no Morning Extended Day this summer - we encourage parents who typically take advantage of our early drop off to select the earliest option in the Program TIme Schedules when registering. Afternoon Extended Day will need to be purchased in advance and participating students will choose to be picked up at either 5:30 PM or 6:00 PM. We will be outside for extended day whenever possible and therefore unable to coordinate the convenience of a rolling dismissal as we usually do. See website for more information.
LUNCH & FROZEN TREATS there will be no food provided by Kidstock! this summer
We will not be providing for purchase a lunch program or field time frozen treats. All students will need to bring a nut-free lunch to Kidstock! each day.
SINGING we will use pre recorded music and avoid singing
We will not be singing during our Music & Movement classes, instead we will use pre-recorded music as the resource for our shared experiences.
PRESENTATIONS we will not gather as an audience inside or outside
At this time we are not planning on gathering a live audience for any of our usual Friday presentations. We will be filming them each week and editing them into a keepsake video that will be emailed for you to watch with your child and share with family and friends.
