  • $395/week
Kidstock! invites Lexington Preschool students ages 4 and up to join us for a special week of creative fun!  An active morning schedule will include story theater, inventive art projects, group songs & playful dances.  Students must be fully independent in using the bathroom and bring a nut free snack and lunch.  There is a minimum of 6 students and a maximum of 12.

CURRICULUM

STORYSTAGE focuses on storytelling through imaginative play.  Students explore settings, characters, and basic stage skills through actively participating in creative theater games and bringing the storybook of the day to life onstage.  By playing with the story from different points of view and playing characters in groups, students learn empathy and are able to perform in a fully supported and accessible environment. 

We will ad the storybooks interactively, engaging the students’ imagination with what could happen next and encouraging them to share their ideas!  We will explore confident speaking and foster positive self expression while understanding how to respect and celebrate ideas that are different from our own!  Engaging prompts will guide our individual art projects and problem solving teamwork will support our songs and dances!  Dedicated time for supervised social interaction will include playing with multiple creative resources found in our theater education facility!
PREREGISTRATION BY MARCH 15 IS REQUIRED FOR THIS PROGRAM - we will confirm and process payments as soon as we reach our minimum.  If we do not reach our minimum the program will be unavailable and no payments will be processed.
