VACATION WEEK & PLAYDATE
PARTICIPATION DETAILS
KIDSTOCK! PROGRAM HOURS
- Program starts at 9:00am - doors open at 8:45 for drop off
- Full day dismisses at 4:00pm - dismissal lasts until 4:15pm
OUR MOST POPULAR QUESTION: What do I need to do to register my child for EXTENDED DAY?
THE ANSWER: It's convenient- you do nothing!
EXTENDED DAY HOURS
The convenience of extended day is that there is no preregistration.
You will be charged ONE TIME at the end of the week for any extended day.
Please note that Extended Day is convenience, not part of our structured day, and therefore does not have a curriculum.
Students in extended day are supervised in a sunlit air-conditioned room adjacent to the office with soft seating, storybooks of all levels, board games, building toys and art supplies for self-selected play while a movie or cartoon is running on the TV.
A staff led group theater game always begins the first 15 minutes of the afternoon extended day.
ABSENCES
Please notify our office by phone on the day your child is sick.
ARRIVAL
We are at the door in the parking lot for you to drop off or you may park and walk your child in.
ATTENDANCE
Our week offers a unique cumulative team experience so everyone's attendance for the entire day is requested.
EARLY DISMISSAL - PLEASE READ
Early dismissal is respectfully discouraged - our week is carefully planned and cumulative and leaving early can result in students not having the ability to be prepared to fully participate in the program's presentation if they are not present to learn the songs & dances, rehearse the material, or finish the art projects that their peers have worked on in their absence.
Please refrain from scheduling other activities or medical appointments during the week you are participating with us, or double booking your child and prioritizing another activity's obligations over their commitment to their Kidstock! cast mates.
If you absolutely must dismiss early, please speak with the office in advance, as well as that morning, to let them know - we are unable to offer individual early dismissals between 3:45 and 4:00pm. when we are preparing for everyone's group dismissal.
DISMISSAL CODE
we use your child's BIRTHDATE as their unique DISMISSAL CODE
please share this info with anyone picking up your child - your carpool should share birthdates
we will not dismiss a child to an adult who does not know the child's birthdate

CELL PHONES, FIDGET SPINNERS, ETC
CELL PHONES & ELECTRONIC GAME DEVICES
We are unable to monitor the appropriate use of the internet and can not promise the security of cell phones so we suggest that they be left at home. The office will respectfully take away any device being inappropriately used by a student during the day's activities and keep it safe in the office for pick up at dismissal. If a student chooses to bring a cell phone or electronic device to Kidstock! the appropriate use of it must be limited to lunch time and extended day.
FIDGET SPINNERS & HAND HELD TOYS
The Kidstock! day is an active one, scheduled with many activities, all of which involve the unrestricted use of hands. The office will respectfully take away any toy being inappropriately used by a student during the day's activities and keep it safe in the office for pick up at dismissal. If a student chooses to bring a toy to Kidstock! the appropriate use of it must be limited to lunch time and extended day.
STUFFED ANIMALS
The Kidstock! "Stuffed Animal Day Care Center" will be open each morning for your young child to safely leave any stuffed animal they need to bring to camp so that they "know" where it is behind a viewing window where they may visually visit it throughout the day and excuse it at snack time and lunch time to play with it. Carrying a stuffed animal around throughout the day is problematic when it is left behind or becomes a distraction.

CHANGE OF CLOTHES
BATHROOM ACCIDENTS
Everyone must be toilet trained and fully independent in the bathroom, however accidents do happen. If you feel your child is prone to having an accident we would appreciate you providing an extra set of clothes in a labeled plastic storage bag and dropping it off to the office on Monday for us to keep on hand for the week. Kidstock! does keep extra clothes in various sizes for such situations, but it is always easier for us to have your child change into their own clothes.
