Brian is the founding director of Kidstock! Creative Theater and the Artistic Producing Director of the NextDoor Theater Company. He is a life long resident of Winchester , a graduate of Tufts University and a florist/special events designer. His past directing and design credits include work with the Boston Children’s Theatre, the Winchester Cooperative Theater, and the Lyric Stage Company in Boston where he produced the family theater series “Once Upon A Time with Kidstock!” Brian directed 15 productions at Winchester High School over more than 10 years including an award winning production of Taming of the Shrew. His Director/Designer credits at NDT include You’re a Good Man, Charlie Brown, Little Shop of Horrors, Lettice & Lovage, Into the Woods, 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee (IRNE nomination), Lend Me A Tenor, Steel Magnolias, 9-5 and Sunset Blvd.
Bob Antonelli associate director
Bob has been a part of Kidstock! since the Summer of 2004. As a teacher and director, Bob has had the pleasure of creating, playing and imagining with over hundreds of kids that have come through the Kidstock! program each year. Bob received his MFA in Theater Arts from Brandeis University and is a member of Actor's Equity. Bob has performed with theaters throughout Boston including NewRep, The Lyric Stage Company, and The Nextdoor Theater. He is also an accomplished singer-songwriter with the Boston based acoustic duo Cahill. They've released 4 albums, have toured nationally, and have shared stages with Howie Day, Cake, and Blessid Union of Souls. Bob also enjoys video and editing projects and runs a small wedding videography company.
JACKIE DALEY managing director
Jackie is delighted to join the Kidstock! staff as Managing Director. She recently moved back to Massachusetts from the tiny Dutch Caribbean island of Saba where she served as the Instructor and Coordinator of the Arts of the local after school program. She directed the Little Mermaid and choreographed Tiny Thumbelina in addition to teaching Improvised Theater to both children and adults. Jackie attended the Improv Boston Comedy School and performed with two long form improv groups in and around Boston. She in particular enjoyed performing improvised musicals for children. Jackie is a certified Yoga Dance instructor and loves teaching expressive dance and creative movement. Having had experience teaching dance in the real world, it was quite fun for her to play the role of “Dance Teacher” in the 2017 Annisquam Village Player’s production of Singing in the Rain.
CHARLIE BAIRD DEVELOPMENT DIRECTOR
Charlie is thrilled to be joining the the Kidstock! team. Originally hailing from Darien, CT, Charlie is an experienced educator, performer, administrator, and arts activist. He boasts a 14-year career as a featured tenor and chorister. Most recently Charlie was featured as a tenor with the professional, Minneapolis-based VocalEssence Ensemble Singers during its 2016-2017 season. Charlie was previously a member of the St. Olaf Choir, the premier college a cappella choir in the United States, with whom he performed at Carnegie Hall. Additionally, he sang with The Limestones, the St. Olaf College male a cappella group, with whom he recorded the Christmas album Jingle Bell Rock and made a 2015 appearance on the national broadcast of Minnesota Public Radio's "A Prairie Home Companion with Garrison Keillor." In January 2017, Charlie had the distinct pleasure of serving as a guest artist for VocalEssence's chapter of The Lullaby Project, a national program of Carnegie Hall’s Weill Music Institute that empowers at-risk high school mothers to create original lullabies for their children to promote maternal bonding. Charlie spent 5 summers working as a counselor at Camp Killooleet, a summer camp run by the Seeger family in Hancock, VT. Charlie is a 2016 graduate of St. Olaf College, earning his Bachelor of Arts in music.
SHANNON KEAVENEY instructor
Shannon has been working at Kidstock! since the summer of 2006. She is a graduate of Emerson College ( B.A. Theater Education) and Lesley University (M.Ed. Creative Arts in Learning). She is a certified teacher of Drama, Early Childhood Education and Elementary Education. Shannon also teaches fourth grade at Lynch Elementary School in Winchester and loves what she does! She is energetic and passionate about teaching and brings this to all her work. She's been lucky enough to be able to share her joy with many children over the years and is thrilled to be able to bring her love for teaching and her love for stories and storytelling together as a member of the Kidstock team.
