SUMMER 2020 - WE HAVE a 'perfect vision' for creative fun!
SummerStage
The Kidstock! SummerStage program is the original program and curriculum upon which Kidstock! was founded 28 years ago. Our experiential goal back then is the same as it is in today's Summer Stage program: to empower kids to create their very own musical by supporting them with the resources, guidance and passion of theater professionals as their mentors and guides.
Every student in SummerStage explores what it means to be a playwright, actor, designer, and stage crew member as they cycle through daily structured experiences in drama, dance, art, and music - all together building piece by piece into a final presentation on each Friday. Each young actor owns a role, determines their own lines, and performs in the show. Students also work together to compose original lyrics for a song, choreograph movement for a stage dance, and create their own scenery, props, and costumes as they continue to rehearse for the live stage show at the end of the week. Every week in Summer Stage is a new theme and every show is an original production. |

"I have two very different kids: one is highly advanced and the other has a mild learning disorder. One is outgoing, the other is more introverted. Yet they both thoroughly enjoyed their time at Kidstock and thrived in the hands of the wonderful staff. We couldn't be more pleased."

"It is a very high quality program. Can't even compare with the other camps my child attended. I love how organized they are; payments for after and before care are so simple too. My kids really loved going there." |
"After the first day of KIDSTOCK when I asked my daughter what she did that day, her answer was: I let my talent SHINE! I could have cried at her excitement." |
"Kidstock manages to be not only kid-friendly but parent-friendly as well. Counselors greet children by name and are an immediately welcoming presence when one walks in the door. The ease of early drop off and extended hours, as well as the ability to order lunch the day that it is needed, are a boon to busy parents juggling work and their child's summer fun. Our child had a blast and we had peace of mind. Thank you for a great summer!"
