How do I submit my student's video participation?
Click here to upload your video directly to our drive. Please submit your footage by Saturdays at 3pm. Want to submit something simpler like a quote, photo, or something else? Click here for easy submission! Can my child just email you from their own email account? Typically, we appreciate some parent involvement in this process as every family makes their own decisions about technology use. We will continue to word our curriculum to involve students to connect with their adult on what is submitted for participation. Please use your own discretion if you feel your child is ready for more independence online. |

1) Be sure to hold the camera HORIZONTALLY (this is an easy thing to forget and makes ALL the difference!) 2) Make sure cameras are shooting in 1080, NOT 4K (some iPhones automatically shoot in 4k, especially new ones). Click here for a tutorial on how to do this. 3) Try to have a light source IN FRONT of your actor instead of BEHIND them (avoid shooting in front of a window). 4) Encourage your actor to speak loudly and clearly (like they’re on stage!) and try to have other sounds in the house minimized (TV’s, music, etc). 5) Have your actor speak directly to the camera, unless directed otherwise. |
