DIVERSITY AND INCLUSION STATEMENT

Kidstock!, a leader within the arts education field since 1992, aims to also lead as an all-inclusive organization focused on antiracism, multicultural celebration, and freedom of gender expression. As a theater dedicated to the growth and empowerment of young imaginations, we understand how important it is for young people to see themselves and their experiences reflected on our stages.

Kidstock! is committed to providing the opportunity for every child to create, imagine, learn, and experience the joy of theater, regardless of race, ethnicity, class, religion, gender identity, sexual orientation, ability, nationality, or immigration status. Kidstock!’s acceptance and respect for individual differences promotes unique ideas, meaningful programs, and creative solutions built upon this broad range of perspectives. We believe this attracts diversity, not only in our productions, but within our staff, volunteers, students and their families who are broadly representative of the surrounding communities of the Greater Boston area.

With the goal of inspiring our students to look beyond how their passion for the arts translates into adulthood, our unique style of educational creative theater empowers young imaginations and nurtures social empathy through the active examination of how characters experience and resolve problems and develops respect for group goals in teamwork and compromise.
