PART TIME YEAR ROUND POSITION FOR QUALIFIED EDUCATIONAL ARTIST
JOIN OUR TEAM for OCTOBER 1 - We have an immediate need for a qualified and experienced theater education artist to teach our curriculum for ages 4-5 and Grades K-1 on MONDAY through THURSDAY from 3:00-6:00. A candidate with an interest and experience in arts administrative work and registration data base management can expand this opportunity to be 10:00-6:00 MON-THU. EDUCATIONAL ARTISTS after schoolKidstock! Creative Theater is always looking to meet kid-friendly, self motivated, creative, and bold teaching artists to join our creative theater teaching staff as part time Theater Educators for ages 4-12.
We often have multiple opportunities available which can be contracted individually or combined into a part time gig. Candidates must have actual experience working with students teaching theater, or equivalent life experience in the arts and youth education/performance. They should be competent and confident in theatrically engaging children while reading a story, creatively using a storybook as a springboard for creative theater, and interacting professionally with families and staff. Classes typically run between the hours of 3:00-6:00pm for 60, 75, or 90 minutes and can be short term (6-8-10 weeks) or seasonal (fall/winter/spring) This position requires independent reliable transportation to offsite facilities. Compensation: $35-$75/class |
